A football pool for friends...and their friends too!
If you are joining our pool for the first time, here is information that should help as you navigate this site.
Our pool is hosted on servers provided by www.castle64.com. Their services include all of the necessary functions to record and track player information. From this homepage you can launch to pages the host uses for that purpose. Bookmark this page in your web browser to quickly get to the pages that interest you.
Signing up for the first time? From the menu select 'Picks', go to the 'Make Picks' page and enter your new team name and the initial password provided by the game runner. You can change your password once you've entered the required information. You will be asked for your email and your phone number. Email is required, phone is optional. Enter your phone number only if you prefer communications with the game runner through texts.
Our pool is fun for both novices and experienced players. It is a 'straight-up' pool where you gain one point for every team you pick correctly each week of the regular season. However, NFL Fever is also a 'confidence' pool, a twist on the standard football pool. Each week offers the opportunity to gain bonus points for correct picks. To gain these bonuses you can bet on three games each week with confidence points. Just like making a bet at the black-jack table, your bets will pay off if you choose the winning team in those three games. You will be given six confidence points each week to bet - players can bet three of those points on one game, two points on another game and one point on a third match. If your pick wins, you gain the amount of your bet. However, if your pick loses then the bet will be deducted from your season total. Players are not required to use their confidence points every week. Betting confidence points is optional. In any given week, a player may not want to take risks with confidence points if they feel there might be an advantage to do so.
Additional points will also be awarded to players each week based on picks and performance. The following is a rundown of these bonus points. Have fun and good luck!

Note: for those people who have used our marchmadnesspool.com site to run their March Madness bracket pool, I have sold that domain name. However, the site is still up! It's just the name has changed, to: 03madness.com. (Get it? 03 = March... Best I could come up with...)
