What is an office football pool?
If you've ever run an office football pool, you know the pain: collecting paper pick sheets,
looking up point spreads, calculating winners every week, and chasing everyone for their picks.
Castle64 puts the whole thing online. Players make their picks from anywhere — at home, at work,
from their phone — and the pool automatically tracks results and standings each week.
The NFL schedule and point spreads are loaded for you. Players enter their own picks.
Scores go in each week and winners are calculated automatically. You do nothing.
Football pool types we support
- Pick-em pools — pick game winners each week, with or without point spreads
- Confidence pools — assign confidence points to each pick
- Survivor / elimination pools — one team per week, one wrong pick and you're out
- Best-bet pools — a special type of confidence-style pool

Free football pool
Pools with up to 5 players are completely free — no time limit, no credit card required.
Once you decide it works for you, it's just 50 cents per player beyond the free 5
(or less with our annual early bird special). Payment isn't due until the 3rd week of the season,
so you can try it out risk-free first.

How to test your pool before the season starts
- Set up your pool using Setup New Football Pool
- Choose a pre-season week that already has scores
- Enter some picks for yourself and any test players
- Check picks via Show Picks
- Go to the Game Runner Menu and run Calculate Winners
- Verify Overall Winners and Weekly Winners show the right results
- Use Reset Your Pool from the Game Runner Menu before the real season begins
Coming in late? Use Update Players in the Game Runner Menu to set starting point totals for each player.
Office football pool FAQ
How do players submit their picks?
Players visit your pool's personal page and pick online — from home, work, or their phone. No paper sheets, no emailing picks to the commissioner every week.
Do I have to enter the NFL schedule and spreads myself?
No. The schedule and point spreads are loaded for you. You can override individual spreads if needed, but the default is automatic.
Can I run a survivor pool?
Yes — survivor (elimination) pools are fully supported. Players pick one team per week; one wrong pick and they're out. See Survivor Pool for details.
Can I run a college football pool?
Yes. You can run a pure college football pool, a bowl game pool, or mix college and NFL games in one pool. You control which games are included.
